Canden Pacific Limited Terms & Conditions 2012:
- Inspection Fee, this is a non-refundable fee to be paid up front. It covers the time spent by the technicians in disassembling, diagnosing or assessing the issue to ascertain a cause and resolution.
- Installing outlook or other applications & setting them up in our store?may work fine but when shifted to a new environment i.e. bringing the computer home and using outlook or another application may not work due to a different network setup / layout wither dialup, high-speed or wireless.
- Software cover,?Virus /Trojans /Spyware /Adware /Fakeware /Updates /Applications added/Application Changes /Cache /Script affects /Process conflicts that damage or change an Operating System or Software environment are not covered under a warranty.
- Personal Data,?Canden Pacific is not liable for loss of data during Servicing of a PC or other device. Where backup is offered and not accepted or data to be backup is not included/correctly defined Canden Pacific is not liable. Note in the event of backup failing you will be provided with secondary solutions ASAP.
- PC, phone & other issues not stated?in the job notes will not be diagnosed and Advanced Computers Ltd is no liable. Customers must have advised the agent and a note must be made for each issue needing to be fixed.
- Items held by Canden Pacific LTD,? held after 1 week of a quote being issued or a repair completed; without contact or reasonable explanation will incur a storage fee of $1 per day. If not fully paid off and collected or a quote left pending for more than 30 days the item will be recycled and Canden Pacific Ltd will dissolve all liabilities (30 days adhere to all devices).
- Items sent to recycle,?all items not claimed within 30 days once a quote is issued or a repair job is completed, will be recycled. At which point Canden Pacific is no longer liable to the client or any third party. All bad debts will be moved to the debt collector where you will incur a record on your personal credit history for 5 years.
- Warranties,?there is a 3 month return to base warranty on repairs and repaired parts from Canden Pacific. Warranty only covers faulty products which have been used for their intended purpose. Please talk to your insurance advisor for any software, physical or surge damage related issues as warranties do not cover these. If a device has external damage at the point of purchase please advise Canden Pacific. If the warranty is contested than the customer must be prepared to wait a reasonable time (which can be up to two weeks) for the device to be checked by the vendor and extra charges may apply.
- All quotes provided are estimates?actual repair costs may differ. If the first repair fails which is generally not the case, a second quote will be provided and initial repair costs will not apply.
- Clarity,?notes provided to the technicians must be clear enough to not be misunderstood. If you believe a note written is incorrect or the intended meaning is wrong please ask the service representative to check this, also make sure you portray details as clearly and concisely as possible. Please do not be offended if a service representative tries to clarify what has been said.
- Liquid damaged,?Canden Pacific Ltd can repair most electronic products with liquid damaged but there is NO WARRANTY on any liquid damage repairs. Electronic products sent for repair within 24-48 hours have the highest success rate for major repairs of water/liquid damage. Minor damage i.e. sticky keys or replaceable parts can be successfully repaired after this time.

Data Recovery
- AUTHORIZATION: The client authorizes Canden Pacific Ltd to conduct an evaluation of the media to determine the nature of the damage and provide an estimate of the recovery cost plus timing. The client authorizes Canden Pacific Ltd, its employees and agents to receive then transport this media/equipment/data to, from & between their facilities.
- LEGAL RIGHT: The client is the legal owner or authorized representative of the legal owner of the property and all data contained therein sent to Canden Pacific Ltd. Any property left with Canden Pacific Ltd unclaimed for 30 days will be disposed. At this time Canden Pacific Ltd shall have no liability to the client or any third party.
- LIMITED LIABILITY: Canden Pacific Ltd shall not be liable for any claims regarding the physical functioning of equipment/media or the condition or existence of data storage media supplied before, during or after service. In no event will Canden Pacific Ltd be liable for any loss of data or loss of revenue or profits or any special, incidental, contingent or consequential damages, however caused, before, during or after service even if Canden Pacific Ltd has been advised of the possibility of damages or loss to persons or property. Canden Pacific Ltd liability of any kind with respect to services, including any negligence on its part, shall be limited to the contract price for the services. The client and Canden Pacific Ltd agree that the sole and exclusive remedy for unsatisfactory work or data shall be, at the discretion of Canden Pacific Ltd, additional attempts by Canden Pacific Ltd to recover satisfactory data or refund of the amount paid by the client. The parties acknowledge that the price of Canden Pacific Ltd service would be much greater Canden Pacific Ltd undertook more extensive liability. The client is aware of the inherent risk of injury and property damage involved in data recovery, including without limitation, risks due to destruction or damage to the media or data or inability or recover data, or complete data recovery, including those that may result from the negligence of Canden Pacific Ltd, and assumes any and all known risks of injury and property damage that may result.
- CONFIDENTIALITY: Canden Pacific Ltd agrees not to disclose any and all information for data files supplied with, stored in, or removed from the client except to staff or agents of Canden Pacific subject to confidentiality agreements or as required by law.
- PAYMENT: The balance payment is due upon completion of a successful recovery, prior to release of the data (whether shipped, picked up or downloaded), unless by special arrangement. The client is financially responsible for all shipping costs (including failed recovery returns), custom duties and taxes to and from Canden Pacific Ltd.
- WARRANTY: Canden Pacific Ltd makes no warranty, expressed or implied, and Advanced Computers Ltd disclaims any warranty of any kind, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
- Disclosure statement?Canden Pacific Ltd is not obliged to disclose information on the location of our workshops to our customers.
